Shinsei, the Japanese sake! A restaurant in a sake brewery.
How about sake at the old sake brewery? It's quite cool. We also serve free-range chicken dishes that go perfectly well with sake. Yamamoto Honke Co., ltd, that produces Fushimi's refined sake "Shinsei." Genbei, the founder, started business in Fushimi in 1677, the Edo period. Fushimi flourished, being the base of Kyoto's trading business. Fushimi, like its name, has been blessed with groundwater, the river which connects Kyoto and Osaka, and a place to make sake. Fushimi's sake became famous all over Japan because of the TV commercial. Fushimi has been one of the popular places of history and great sake.
