Long ago, Susanooh-no-mikoto killed an 8-headed dragon by intoxicating it. He rescued the beautiful Princess Inada and had a very happy marriage. Princess Inada gave birth to many gods and the couple prospered. This mythical tale of Princess Inada is what inspired us to begin making Sake, more than 300 years ago in Yonago, Tottori. The master brewers of Izumo have not changed our traditional brewing method since opening in 1673. Please enjoy the Sake and our seasonal dishes.
