Fushimi flourished, being the base of Kyoto's trading business. Fushimi, like its name, has been blessed with groundwater, the river which connects Kyoto and Osaka, and a place to make sake. Fushimi's sake became famous all over Japan because of the TV commercial. Fushimi has been one of the popular places of history and great sake.
