We are "Nihonbashi Otako honten," a renowned "oden" (assortment of Japanese-style foods usually stewed in a light broth) restaurant founded in 1923, serving consistent flavor that hasn't changed for over 60 years in Tokyo.
We use our secret broth created by continuing to add on, a carefully-protected Edo-style flavor for over half-a-century here at Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
Customers dine on our specialty "toumeshi" (a simple dish of tofu drenched in soup stock, served on top of a bowl of rice) that garnered media coverage, along with beef tongue "oden" inside our restaurant with a relaxing, nostalgic ambiance, perfect for solo diners or groups of friends. We also serve other dishes such as "yakitori" (skewered chicken and vegetables), seasonal dishes, and also sake that compliments these dishes.
